Doordarshan is strengthening its prime time with a new bouquet of TV shows. It will come up with four new shows “IPS Diary”, “Mashaal”, “Albeli…Kahaani Pyaar Ki” and “Sur Sagar”.

“I am very happy that we have launched a new regime of TV shows. With these new shows, we are planning to regain the viewership of Doordarshan,”said Director-General Lalrosanga during the announcement of the shows .

“We have viewers in remotest part of the country. It’s not easy for doing our mandate of public service broadcasting and entertain at the same time. We also plan to be on more platforms apart from YouTube and other social forums,” added Lalrosanga.
