Chief Minister Raghubar Das met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the people of Jharkhand on completion of thousand days of development. Raghuvar Das informed the Prime Minister about the development and welfare activities in the state.
The Chief Minister said that Jharkhand is working with full commitment to fulfill the dream of building a 'New India' as envisioned by the Prime Minister. The Chief Minister said that 1000 days of the tenure of the present government is being completed and in this short period, the state's growth rate has shot upto 8.6%, which is the second largest after Gujarat.
The Chief Minister also informed in detail about the Cleanliness Drive, Garib Mela, Sarkar Aap ke Dwar and other programmes to the prime Minister. He also said that during this period, infrastructure related projects amounting to 8 thousand 500 crore were either inaugurated or the foundation stones were laid and assets of more than 500 crores were disbursed among one lakh people of the state.
The Chief Minister also presented to the Prime Minister, a book published by the state government to commemorate 1000 days completion of Raghubar Das led BJP government in Jharkhand.
