In a smart move aimed at brushing aside the feud between two parties of the ruling coaltion-JMM and the BJP-on sharing power for 28 month each, chief minister Arjun Munda has decided to launch his Johar Yatra.

As it is,Munda, soon after his return from the US on December 19,will proceed on Yatra of three districts-Ramgarh,Hazaribagh and Chatra-on December 21.He is slated to end his Yatra on December 23,two days before Merry Christmas.

On the first day of his Yatra,Munda is scheduled to address a ‘Hunkar’rally organized by the party on December 19 at Ramgarh.A dozen odd senior leaders including Yashwant Sinha are slated to speak.

Though the JMM leaders including Shibu Soren and his son and Deputy CM Hemant had maintained a studied silence over the issue whether they will withdraw support to it if the Munda decides not to relinquish the post of the CM,Sinha today made it clear that his party will not succumb to the JMM’s politics of ‘vested interests.’

“When he arrives,he will ask Soren whether he was in favour of the coalition. If his answer was in the affirmative,we will bury the hatchet.Otherwise,Munda may be asked to quit”,said a senior BJP leader.

But the BJP President Nitin Gadkari is inclined to let Munda tackle the problem by talking to his friends.”There is no threat to the government”,said BJP’s national leadership
