Students of Delhi Public School, Ranchi took a pledge to say a big ‘No’ to ‘Crackers’ this Diwali and to illumine the life of others with generosity and kindness.

Students from Baal Sikhsha Kendra were invited to celebrate Diwali with the students of the Primary wing. They exchanged attractive cards and diays with the message of ‘No Cracker’ let’s celebrate a pollution free Diwali.

In this context a procession was taken out on 17th October 2017, Tuesday by the students and teachers to spread the awareness of harmful effects of pollution produced by the crackers in the festivals of light.

Principal Dr. Ram Singh also joined his hand in this divine act and asked the students to convince one more child to make a vow not to burst a single cracker. He also mentioned that May this festival of light fill your life with the glow of happiness and sparkle of joy.

Students took pledge to follow the words of Principal Dr. Ram Singh and to celebrate delightful and eco- friendly diwali.
