In the workshop held at Sri Krishna Institute of Public Administration in Ranchi on Saturday,Jharkhand Minister,Rural Development,Rural Work,Punchayat Raj and NREP,Neelkanth Singh Munda informed that the state government plans to build 1.75 Lakh houses for the homeless people in the state by 2019.

“The state government aims to provide houses in accordance with need and aspirations of all poor and homeless people by 2022.”The aim of this workshop is to explore how to provide homes to the poor and homeless people in accordance with their needs and aspirations”,said Munda.

Another speaker N.N.Sinha,Principal Secretary,Rural Development,who spoke on the occasion,said that there is a plan to provide a two-room house to every homeless family by 2022.

Munda pointed out that the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna was already launched.”We should not leave any stone unturned to provide it a strong base”,said the Minister.
