K.Vidyasagar was appointed as chairman of the Jharkhand Public Service Commission.

The Chief Minister Raghubar Das is learnt to have taken this decision.And the Chief Minister Office made his decision public in the afternoon on Monday.

Now,the State Cabinet headed by Chief Minister has to approve the decision and the state government notify his appointment.The process may take time,said a senior officer.

K.Vidyasagar,1985 batch IAS officer of Bihar turned Jharkhand cadre,who retired as Addition Chief Secretary(Health),Jharkhand government,has a meritorious service record with incredible credentials.He is expected to take charge of the JPSC and aim to digitise its functioning.
