All personnel of the state Revenue,Registration and Land Reforms Department will get Tabs.”We are going to provide TVs to them so that they effectively work for revenue collection and land registration,said Jharkhand Revenue Minister Amar Kumar Bauri.

Though it is not known whether all these Babus had the ability and experience to use the Tab,Bauri who made this declaration while participating in a workshop organised on a popular subject-‘Digital India Land Record Modernisation”-at Sri Krishna Institute of Public Administration(SKIPA) in Ranchi today,said,”Tabs can help the Department personnel perform their duties and benefit the people.”

As it is,SKIPA Director General Sudhir Prasad,an IITian from Lucknow, had launched computerisation of land records in Ranchi in 1987.
