JMM MLA Sita Soren,her associate and son of ex JMM leader Suraj Mandal, her father B.Manjhi,two industrialists RK Agrawal and Pawan Kumar Dhoot and his agent Sunil Kumar Maheshwari were chargesheeted today in Ranchi by the CBI in the horse trading case.

The chargesheet accused Soren of taking Rs 1.5 crore from Agrawal in lieu of casting her vote in his favour in the cancelled RS by polls in Jharkhand.The transaction had taken place and it was facilitated by Mandal and Manjhi.

The case had prompted the Election Commission of India to hold the Rajya Sabha by polls afresh after cancelling its original notification in 2012.

The accused are likely to be arrested and brought to justice soon.
