With the tightening of administrative discipline and focus on processes and outcomes in policing,the crime control and law & order scenario in Jharkhand has started looking up,said Syed Governor while addressing the conference on ‘Internal Security’,held at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi today.

Governor Ahmad claimed that the Internal Security has improved and there is now greater focus on intelligence based operations and a multifaceted approach towards securitisation of development.

He said that while the issue of Naxalism will be addressed in the evening session, I will confine myself to terrorist threat and other issues of law and order now. The following are the highlights on this front,he said and emphasized the need to set up National Counter Terrorism Centre(NCTC)for coordinated Centre-State approach toward tackling terrorism in the country.
