Responding to a criminal write petition,the Jharkhand High Court today directed Hazaribgh Chief Judicial Magistrate to inquire into the complaint case filed by National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) Deputy General Manager (DGM) Rakesh Nandan Sahay .

This means that the CJM,Hazaribagh,will now inquiry into the alleged thrashing of Sahay by the then Deputy Commissioner of Hazaribagh Sunil Kumar,IAS,inside his official residence in Hazaribagh on February 10,2015.

In fact,while the police,in connection with the FIR filed by Sahay, had charge sheeted two persons-one constable and one peon ,Sahay through a criminal writ petition filed in the Jharkhand High Court,had questioned the police charge sheet and demanded CBI inquiry into his alleged thrashing by the then Deputy Commissioner of Hazaribagh Sunil Kumar.

In his complaint,Sahay had alleged that the then DC thrashed him brutally with the help of police officials.The then DC, however, had rejected the charges.
