IIM Ranchi today witnessed its fifth convocation at Cockerel Auditorium, Dipatoli Cantonment, Ranchi.

Post Graduate Diplomas were conferred on 159 students from the graduating batch of 2014-16 from the two programmes: Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) = 122 students Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (PGDHRM) = 37 students.

The ceremony started with the academic procession followed by invocation, Prof. Anindya Sen, Director In-charge welcomed R. Gopalakrishnan, Former Director, TATA Sons Limited, the Chief Guest of the Ceremony, Chairman, Board of Governors, Faculty Members and the guests.

Chief Guest, presented the Gold & Silver medals, Certificate of Merit and Book Prizes to the students for their academic excellence, Best Summer Internship project and to the Best Outgoing Student and other prize-winners. The recipient of the awards are:

Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) (2014-16 batch) First Position (Recipient of Gold Medal, Certificate of Merit & Book Prize) = Mr. Avneet Pal Singh his name has been included in the honour roll of the institute for the year 2016. Second Position (Recipient of Silver Medal, Certificate of Merit & Book Prize) = jointly shared by Mr. Nagineni Amaresh Krishna and Mr. Piyush Jain.
