The 123st birth anniversary of Gurudeva Sri Sri Paramahansa Yogananda was celebrated inside Yogda Satsang Society of India campus in Ranchi today.

Hundreds of devotees took part in the celebration function.

As it is,Yogda Satsang Society of India,founded by Sri Sri Paramahansa Yogananda,has been dedicated to carrying on the spritual and humanitarian work.

Sri Sri Paramahansa is widely revered as the father of Yoga in the West.It was in Ranchi,in 1917,that Sri Sri Paramahansa Yogananda began his life’s work with founding of an Ashram and a “How-to Live” school for boys,and to make available the universal teachings of Kriya Yoga.
