A workshop organised by Jharkhand state department of sports,culture and tourism was held inside the hotel Green Acres in Ranchi today.

During the workshop attended among others by the stakeholders including coaches several decisions were taken,said Sarojini Lakra
(International Sports Expert),Senior Dy SP,Jharkhand Armed Police-10.”I was authorised to take the decisions”,he said.

As per Lakra’s statement,these decisions were as follows:

1- Organising/ participating International, National & State Training, Workshop, Symposium, Study Tour & Foreign Exposure.

I) 1st International Symposium on Olympism and Olympic Movement in India.
Ii) Abroad training for sports person.

Iii) Foreign Exposure for sports officers and sports experts.

2- Construction of Administration Building, Stadiums, Officers Mess, Sports Hostel, Sports infrastructure of Jharkhand Police Sports Directorate, Ranchi.

3- Establishment of Sports Medicine training & Sports Biomechanics Lab

4- Establishment of senior sports centre under divisional level or university Ranchi, hazaribag, chaibasa

5- Women sports activities on 8th March ( sports & cultural event):- events, societal camp, blood donation camp, workshop on sports psychology,

6-participation of Indian delegation in international Pierre de Coubertin Youth Forum-2016-17

7- Sports club development in Jharkhand
