Ambulances were given today to 10 selected cattle shelters in Jharkhand for the emergency transportation of cows.

Of the 27 cow shelters in the state, 10 will have the facility of ambulances that will take ill cows to the nearest veterinary hospitals for medication and care, said Jharkhand Gaushala Pradeshik Sangh.

Sangh president Tarachandra Jain said the ambulance services for cows have been activated in pilgrimage town of Deoghar.

These shelters have been charged very less for the emergency services.
