Lions Club of Ranchi East today conducted a health programme centring around checking the eyes of the kids.

Billed as ‘Sight for kids’,it was held at  Ramlakhan Singh Yadav school in Ranchi.The programme was conducted by a six member team of Optromists led by senior doctor Dr.Prakash Bera.They had come from Calcutta.

This team of Lions International -called Multiple 322-is working to help children gain the sight.They will be in Ranchi for five days.

During the function,eyesight of 300 children were cheaked and those children who were treated are expected to be provided with power glasses within a month.
