After the Cyrus Mistry debacle, Tata group is all set to re-establish its old glory. This year, Ratan Tata, his two sisters and all members of the Board including chairman N. Chandrashekharan, attended the 178th Founders Day celebration at Jamshedpur.

In an evening function at Jubilee Park, before Jamshedji Tata’s Statue, the chairman pressed a button that illuminated the park and city with a myriad lights. It was accompanied  by a prayer that the founder’s vision and enthusiasm would inspire and lead them  towards the achievement of greater goals.

Board member Ishat Hussain said that Jamshedji had started ‘make in India’ a hundred years ago.
