Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das took part in the meeting convened by Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh.

It was participated among others by the state government's three senior officers-Chief Secretary Rajbala Verma,Principal Secretary to the CM Sanjay Kumar and Addition DGP RK Mallick.The meeting was chaired by Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh.

Singh called for 'unity of purpose' amongst naxal-affected states and advocated the formation of a strategic and unified command to foil attempts to 'stall development and throttle democracy at gun point."

Home Minister spoke about the need to be taken to counter the guerrillas and opined that "there should be immediate measures such as chocking their finances." 

More,Rajnath said 'unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) would be pressed into service to bust their hideouts. I am sure that the attempts to stall development and throttle democracy at gunpoint will not be successful ever,” he said.

While addressing the meeting Das gave details of the downfall of Naxalite violence cases in the state and observed that due to 'all round development',the state government had succeeded in containing Maoist violence in Jharkhand.

"We are carrying 11 out the work related with implementation of 11 Action Plans",said the CM.

"To seize the property of Maoists,a state unit of Enforcement Directorate be set up in Jharkhand",demanded the CM.
