Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu was in Ranchi to praise the performance of the BJP government led by Chief Minister Raghubar Das.He certified it in his own words.

His opinion comes at a time when the Das government faced wide spread criticism connected with pot holed roads,power cuts,dirt and filth raising mosquitoes in towns and cities including Ranchi.

So much so that the Jharkhand High Court has pulled up the state government on this issue many times.

However,ignoring these facts and making public some official records,Naidu opined that in implementation of the Swacch Bharat Abhiyan in the country,Jharkhand figured in top five states.Even in implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Urban Housing scheme,the state has performed well,said Naidu.

"This is all due to able leadership of the Chief Minister",said Naidu.By examining 2.55 lakh applications,60916 were linked to GEO Tagging and provided houses.Their bank accounts were opened,said Naidu while reviewing the state government's performance inside the state secretariat in Ranchi.

Naidu advised that the state government should adopt appropriate management for use of Solar Power,Rain Water Harvesting and Waste Management(Turning Waste Products into Compost for generation of Energy).
