Tribal and Customary Law.The Central University of Jharkhand will provide Masters of Arts in this subject.

The course is designed in an interdisciplinary perspective with an aim to make the study of tribal peoples useful in the current system of governance.

Essentially,it is based on concepts connected with their social stuctures and as such the course is going to be connected with anthropology,sociology,political science,public administration,economics and law.

To carry out the course,CUJ has three assistant professors headed by a professor who is the former Director of the Law Research Institute,Gauhati High Court.
