U.S. President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden will formally recommit to serving the American people at the 57th Presidential Inauguration on January 21.

Festivities will begin at 15:00 UTC/20:30 IST and the oath of office will be administered on the steps of the U.S. Capitol in Washington D.C.

Next,the President will give his inaugural address, setting out his vision for America and goals for the nation.

On the occasion,the US agency plans to stream the live coverage of the ceremony with a view from the National Mall.
