Governor Syed Ahmad today spent more than two hours at the state secretariat.

During his stay there between 10.30 am and 12.30 pm,he met the top brass of the state administration including the Chief Secretary SK Choudhary.

In the morning,Governor Ahmad called the Water Resourses Department Principal Secretary Santosh Kumar Satapathy and asked him to submit his bio data.

Satapathy who quickly honoured it,is being considered by Governor Ahmad for the post of his Principal Secretary as he had earlier sought Aditya Swaroop’s replacement.

During the day newly appointed Advisor to Governor Vijay Kumar met Governor Ahmad.His another Advisor Madhukar Gupta is expected to join duty tomorrow.
