Anupam Kher with Jharkhand IPRD Director AK Pandey attending JFTAC meeting inside Suchna Bhawan in Ranchi

Bollywood actor and Padama Bushan Anupam Kher on Friday presided over a meeting of the Jharkhand Film Technical Advisory Committee in Ranchi on Friday.

The Committee with Kher as its President comprises members such as popular Hindi film director Imtiyaz Ali and rebowned writer Amitav Ghosh.

Addressing the committee meeting,Kher said that that in coming days Jharkhand will become a centre of attraction for film makers of the country and abroad.

He said,”Jharkhand has excellent natural sites.Its art,culture are rich and has a big group of artists.Most importantly,the Chief Minister raghubar Das led government is committed to develop infrastructure in Jharkhand”,said Kher in the meeting of JFTAC inside Suchna Bhawan in Ranchi..

In the meeting,JFTAC decided to include two female members.The member of the committee can recommend eligible female member to the Information and Public Relations Department.

Another decision taken in the meeting was to encourage and promote local actors,artists,culture and language and come up with a website carrying the informations connected with the state film policy and action taken on proposals submitted on film production.

Kher was accompanied by the state IPRD Director AK Pandey.
