Family and relatives of Vipul Singh mourn at Argora Maidan in Ranchi on Wednesday. Vipul was killed when overhead electrical wires were hit by the Mahavira flag on Tuesday evening.

Vipul Singh who was the main teacher of Maharshi Arvind Prabhat Branch and a member of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) was leading a procession with huge flag-post ahead of a celebration planned for the upcoming Hindu New Year. Following the incident, the State government on Wednesday announced to give Rs. 2 lakh to the family members of deceased, Vipul Singh as compensation.
