Jharkhand police is moving to Mumbai with the warrant of arrest issued by the court in Ranchi against film actress Ameesha Patel. The police have to arrest her in the case of fraud.
Prior to facing the fraud case and warrant of arrest, Ameesha had raised oops in February 2014 by exposing her sensuous body and skimpy dressing style. In fact, she should have been a little careful as during the launch of her debut production venture 'Desi Music', she had suffered from a wardrobe malfunction. A clear show of her inner-wear her white dress was caught by the shutterbugs.
This time caught her in a fraud case dating back to March 29,2019, when Jharkhand based Ajay Kumar Singh, producer of film-Kaho Na Payar Hai-had filed FIR against Ameesha Patel and her Business partner Kunal Groomer, alleging that they had received Rs2.5 lakh to provide acting service for the film 'Music Making.' But they did nothing, alleged Singh.
Reports state that the work connected with film Music Making had started in 2013."She will work and ensure that after the film is ready by 2018. Also, she assured that she will make the payment and return the money after the film was released. Since the movie was not made or released, I contacted her and sought the return of the money. She handed over a cheque amounting to Rs 3 crore. I deposited the cheque only to record that the cheque had bounced. I again contacted her. She started dribbling. Her business partner (Groomer)started sharing pictures of Ameesha with politically famous politicians suggesting that his move to go to media and the court will not make any sense", states Singh.
Later, a legal notice was served. She did not reply. Then Singh claims to have moved the civil court. Soon, though this court issued notice to her seeking her reply, Ameesha did not reply. After rounds of notices, the court ordered issuance of a warrant of arrest against her. Following the court's order, the police administration is planning to send a team of cops to arrest her.
Alongside, Ameesha can surrender, seek bail from the district court.
