Students of Central University are gearing up to welcome President of India Ramnath Kovind on February 28.
President Kovind is slated to visit Jharkhand on the same day to participate in the Central University Convocation function. During his two- days visit, he is scheduled to participate in the NGO Vikas Bharti function at Bishunpur in Gumla on February 29.
On the same day, President Kovind is slated to offer prayers at Baidyanath Dham temple in Deoghar.
At Central University, all chairs on the dias are going to be of the same type. To welcome him, teachers, staff and students were directed to remain in a standing position to greet him.
As per the directive of the state Chief Secretary' D K.Tiwari, no tea and snacks will be served. The band of JAP-1 will play national song marking open the program.
Tiwari has directed Deputy Commissioners of Ranchi, Gumla and Deoghar to take appropriate measures to maintain traffic and law and order in their respective districts during President Kovind 's arrival and departure.
