Karim Malik and  Shyamal Santra, Program Officer, Transforming Ruler India Foundation (TRIF), A Tata Trust initiative, met the Chief Minister Hemant Soren at his residence and donated 8400 PPE kits and other health protection gears as a contribution to the state government to fight against Corona Virus (Covid-19). 

On the occasion, the Chief Minister said that the Tata Trust Group's initiative to maintain health facilities in the state is commendable. Health protection gears like PPE kits, masks, thermal scanners, other machines etc. are being supported by this group. 

He said that many industrial institutions, voluntary institutions, social institutions and others in the state are also coming forward and contributing to the state government to fight against Corona Virus. 

The Chief Minister said that in this hour of crisis, everyone should unite and play their part in mutual cooperation and harmony. He said that the government is committed to providing health safety kits including PPE kits to the doctors, nurses and other health workers who are engaged in the treatment of Corona patients in the state. 

He said that the contribution of the voluntary institutions are benefiting the health staffs in all the district of the state. The Chief Minister said that at present, a large number of medical equipment are required and the government is working in this direction.

On this occasion, ShriKarim Malik, Program Officer, Transforming Ruler India Foundation, said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, the state government is doing commendable work to tackle the Corona Virus. 

Karim Malik said that TRIF is also providing dry ration to the needy people every day. The institution is also distributing soybean, gram, green vegetables etc. as an additional nutritious food in Chief Minister Didi Kitchen in 11 districts of the state. 

He said that today, TRIF is providing PPE kits and other medical equipment worth Rs 2 crore to the state government. These medical safety kits will be made available to health workers who are engaged in the treatment of Corona Virus in 16 Naxal-affected Districts of the state.

Mithlesh Kumar Thakur, Minister of Drinking Water and Sanitation, was also present on the occasion.
