Another advisory has been issued for citizens by the Income Tax department directing them to get their Permanent Account Numbers( PAN) linked with their Aadhaar.

If they fail to do so by the end of the current fiscal year on March 31, 2023, their PAN will be rendered “ inoperative.”

The IT advisory notes that “ What is mandatory, is necessary. Don’t delay, link it today.”

Notably, it is mandatory for all PAN holders in the country. This means that for those PAN holders who will not get their PAN linked with their Aadhaar, their PAN will become inoperative from April 1, 2023.
