Every day is important in governance. So is In Jharkhand where Chief Minister Hemant Soren had inaugurated 80 schools of “ Excellence” across districts on Tuesday.

These schools are part of the Soren government’s plan to establish specialised schools across districts, blocks, and gram panchayats.

All 80 specialised schools are affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education with English as the mode of instruction to the students, the CMO claims.

Today is notable for another consideration since the Soren government is in the process to appoint 2137 Plus- 2 school’s Post Graduate Teachers( PGTs). The last date for filing an online application is May 4.

The candidate can visit www.

jssc.nic.in and file application. This means the applicant is left with just a day to file an online application for the Plus-2 teacher’s job.

In fact,the process to file an online application has been going on since April 5. Till May 6, the applicant can submit the examination fee, photograph and upload signature. Also, on or before the above date, the printout of this application can be obtained.

Any change in application can be made from May 10 to May 12.

Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission has issued a notification informing that the candidates who had filed applications for the above jobs, will have to apply afresh. 

However, they will not have to pay examination fees. Alongside, the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe will have to pay Rs 50 as an examination fee. 

Candidates falling in the category of persons with disability will not have to pay any examination fees.
