In view of the Coronavirus threat and 21 -day-long shut down announced by PM Narendra Modi March 25, the Jharkhand government has ordered distribution of ration products - wheat, rice and so on -to PDS cardholders for two months in advance.

Principal Secretary Arun Kumar Singh issued the order on Saturday directing PDS distributors to provide food products in advance to beneficiaries for April and May.
