A conspicuous innovation is "Suraksha Covid-19" app which has been developed by the students of RIT, Jamshedpur.

This app is being used by the Jamshedpur administration to monitor people who are under home Quarantine in the district.

This app is being downloaded in the mobile of home quarantine people through WhatsApp. After downloading the app, the registration of the concerned person is done.

Then personal details like name, address and other details are filled in the registration process. Once downloaded, on clicking the Quarantine option, a selfie of the person has to be uploaded from the place where the Quarantined person is staying.

After that, the selfie has to be uploaded to the app from the same location every 2 hours. This is monitored from the central dashboard and if any movement of the Quarantine person is found, the person is immediately contacted.

Another notable work being carried by Palamau district administration is what it calls "Meals on Wheels".

In this campaign, the poor, daily wage laborers and the neediest people of the district are being provided food at their doorsteps for the night time through vehicles.

It aims to deliver food to every household in the district. This vehicle is distributing 100 packets between 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm daily. For this, a phone number has been given on the vehicle so that any needy person can contact easily.

More? another imaginative initiative has been taken by the Basantrai block administration of Godda district in Jharkhand. It is meant to spread awareness among the people to fight against Corona Virus and spread optimism.

Under this, people are being made aware through songs some of which are sung by the Sub-Inspector of Basantrai Police Station Shri Girdhar Gopal and Block Development Officer  Shekhar Kumar. This endeavour has also been praised on social media platforms.
