It is all about two sides of a coin.On its left side is the state government and on its right is its Khel Gaon.

Consider the coin alias Jharkhand first.

This state was born in 2000.Almost 17 years later when it is governed for the first time by the majority government of the ruling BJP led by Chief Minister Raghubar Das,it seems to be attempting to gain a place in Limca Book of Records by handing over 28938 job letters of private companies at the maiden four-day Skill Summit 2018 on the occasion of National Youth Day-Vivekananda Jayanti.

These jobs of various categories including securitymen, building workers, clothing personnel and telecom operators. All jobs were in private sector and the employers were claimed be private companies.Though the salaries varied from Rs 3000 to Rs 8000 per month, the job gainers were youths, each selected by the state government/private company officials at the district level.

Senior BJP leaders and Union Ministers including Jayant Sinha,Sudarshan Bhagat, Dharmendra Pradhan and the CM Raghubar Das were present at the site-Harivansh Tana Bhagat Indoor Stadium-located inside Khel Gaon in Ranchi on Friday.

Though the appointment letters were handed over to nearly 6000 youths and other unemployed youths were supposed to get it online, the fate of job gainers was not known. Also,no body knows whether these youths will join the service offered by these private companies including Maruti Suzuki and Airtel.

In any case, the traffic was hit in Ranchi as movement of heavy vehicles were banned on Khelgaon road during 6 am-10 pm.Over 800 Police personnel and Magistrates were deployed to maintain law and order.More,East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner  arranged a live  webcast  on the Skill Summit.

Sadly enough, the walls and roofs of the Birsa Munda Athletics stadium in Khelgaon, the site where the mega event was organised by the state government, have crumbled amid apathy despite crores sanctioned for its upkeep. While the state government spent lakhs of rupees to host the job bonanza for structured publicity and record books,no effort was made to maintain the glory of Khel Gaon.

Notably,ex CM Madhu Koda who is facing serious charges of corruption and was out of jail on bail, had entered the Limca Book of Records as the first Independent legislator to become a Chief Minister by forming a government with four other MLAs.
