Following the unemployed youth allowance policy of the TMC government led by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in West Bengal, coalition(JMM, Congress and RJD) government led by CM Hemant Soren government is planning to register unemployed youths and provide them unemployment allowance.
The allowance is planned to be handed over to every registered unemployed youth above 16 years of age. All those who will not get himself/herself registered by the state government-run Employment Exchange.
As it is, the state government has been having Employment Exchange in most of 24 districts for long. After CM Soren directed Chief Secretary D.K.Pandey on January 30 to activate and modernize the Employment Exchange across the state, the report revealed that the data maintained by them were not up to date.
Moreover, most Employment Exchanges suffered from an acute shortage of skilled and competent staff, office space and modern equipment necessary to record, maintain with software app for automatic updation and deletion system. As such, the unemployment allowance can be provided only after these Employment Exchanges register unemployed youths in Jharkhand.
To register, every unemployed youth has to submit the following documents>One, Birth Certificate. Two, Educational Certificate.Three, Residential Certificate.Four, Caste Certificate(If belonging to Reserved Category).Fifth, Aadhaar Card.Sixth, Mobile Phone.
