Eventhough the Congress,RJD and the Independent MLAs such as Hari Narain Rai and Enos Ekka hope to form a government led by JMM’s Hemant Soren,a section of the Congress is not ready to back it.
“We don’t want to burn our fingers with the flock of Hemant,Rai and Ekka.It will damage the interest of the party already facing myriad crises”,said a senior Congress leader.
The Jharkhand issue is likely to come up for discussion at its Chintan Shivir in Jaipur on January 22.The JMM leader Simon Marandi, who was desperate to stich an alliance of his party with the Congress,RJD and Independents, however, claimed that in coming days the coalition will get concretised and a new government formed in Jharkhand
“It may take some time. But it is going to happen”,said Marandi in Dumka yesterday, louding Hemant as a ‘mature’ leader now.
