At a time when COVID-19 posed a challenge, Hemant Soren led government has transferred 11 senior IAS officers in Jharkhand.
According to a notification issued by the state personnel department, K.K.Khandelwal, Additional Chief Secretary, Planning-cum- Finance, was transferred and posted as Development Commissioner. He will hold additional charge as Member, Revenue Board till further order.
Amrendra Pratap Singh, Principal Secretary, School Education and Literacy was posted Principal Secretary, Forest, Environment and Climate Change.
Principal Secretary, Rural Development, Avinash Kumar was posted as Principal Secretary, Woman, Child Development and Social Security Department.
Himani Pandey, Secretary, ST, SC, Minority and Welfare Department, was posted as Secretary, Planning-cum-Finance Department.
Secretary, Drinking water and Hygiene, Aradhana Patnaik, who had an additional charge of Rural Work, was posted as Secretary, Rural Development Department.
Rahul Sharma, Secretary, Excise with an additional charge of Tourism, Art, Culture and Sports, was posted as Secretary, School Edu action and Literacy Department.
Secretary, Urban Development and Housing, Vinay Kumar Choubey with additional charge as Managing Director JUIDCO, was transferred to Excise Department as its Secretary.
Puja Singhal, who was awaiting posting was transferred as Tourism Secretary with an additional charge of Exam Controller.
Secretary, Woman, Child Development, Amitabh Kaushal who held additional charge of Water Resources and Disaster Management, was posted as Secretary, SC-ST, Minority and Backward Class Welfare Department. Kaushal will continue to hold additional charge of Disaster Management.
Prashant Kumar Rural Development (Panchayati Raj and NREP)with an additional charge of Exam Controller, was posted as Secretary, Drinking Water and Hygiene. He will hold additional charge as Chairman, Jharkhand Karamchari Charan Ayog.
Excise Commissioner Bhor Singh Yadav, who held additional charge of Managing Director, Jharkhand Beverage Corporation, was transferred as Commissioner, Commercial Taxes.
This is the first mega administrative reshuffle undertaken by the state government since December 29,2019, when Hemant Soren took oath as CM of Jharkhand.
