The inaugural day of the monsoon session in the Jharkhand Assembly kickstarted with the opposition BJP cornering the JMM led state government on a number of issues.

Among these issues, crime figured on the top of BJP leaders. They said under the tenure of the Soren government criminals were running amok.” There is no law and order. The youth leader ( CPI-M’s Subhash Munda) was shot dead. The atrocities on women are coming to light. The state government has failed to contain them”, shouted a BJP leader.

Another BJP leader said by resigning from the post of Chief Minister Hemant Soren should seek apology from the people and victims.

Along side, after the legislatures offered condolences to departed souls, the work schedule of the session was adjourned till 11 am, July 31.
