CM Hemant Soren asking him to join in its investigation of the alleged money laundering case

The Directorate of Enforcement (ED) has again issued a summon to Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren in a money laundering case, asking him to appear before its regional office in Ranchi on August 24.

This is the second summon issued by the ED asking him to join its investigation in the alleged money laundering case. In its first summon, the ED had asked him to appear on August 14.

However, Soren preferred not to join the central agency probe citing he was busy with the preparation of the Independence Day celebration in the state.
