A day after its state executives’ two day meeting ended in Dhanbad on Sunday, two senior BJP leaders- Arjun Munda and Yashwant Sinha ,today reiterated their demand to hold fresh elections in Jharkhand.

“No party has come to stake claim to form the government. Then why the Governor was not recommending dissolution of the state Assembly”,asked Sinha. Even Munda echoed identical sentiments. “We want fresh election”,said Munda

In fact, the meeting had resolved to hold demonstration in front of the Raj Bhawan for four days beginning July 14 and ending on July 18 when six month term of the ongoing President’s Rule will end.Prior to this, the party men will hand over a letter to Governor demanding dissolution of the Assembly.

A political resolution passed in the meeting alleged that the Arjun Munda government was toppled by the Congress early this year when Jharkhand Mukti Morcha withdrew support to it.Now the Congress and JMM were out to form coalition government, said BJP MP PN Singh, who had drafted the resolution.
