With 501 Brahmans blowing bugle, the 3 km long road show of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi began at the Ranchi airport this evening.

The 5-hour-long roadshow covered four assembly constituencies — Ranchi, Hatia, Kanke and Khijri, and was attended by senior BJP leaders.

The road show has gained significance since it was being led by PM Modi two days before the first phase of Assembly polls are slated to be held on November 13.

During this phase, polling will be held in Ranchi, Kanke, and Khijri Assembly constituencies on Wednesday.

The roadshow ended at Ratu Road in Ranchi at 6.30 pm. Multiple cultural programs took place, and around two lakh people showed up along the roadsides.

The audience were spotted excited to see PM Modi. Most of them waved hands to greet him in Ranchi. Union Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth, Assam CM and Jharkhand BJP co-in-charge, Himanta Biswa Sarma were with PM Modi during the roadshow.
