Raghubar Das who recently resigned from the post of Odisha governor is all set to make a comeback in the Jharkhand politics on Friday.  

After the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) 's debacle in the assembly election, Das is preferred to lead the party in the state. In all likelihood, the former Jharkhand Chief Minister will rejoin the BJP as the state chief. His return to state politics is also seen as a strategy of the BJP high command. 

While tribal leader and former CM Babulal Marandi will lead the Opposition in the state assembly, OBC leader Raghubar Das will head the BJP in Jharkhand. BJP failed to get the desired seats after the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) led INDIA bloc formed the government with a large majority. 

Mr. Das received a grand welcome from the BJP workers when he had landed at Ranchi airport on December 26. His supporters shouted slogans in his support with musical bands. 

Now when he walks into the head quarter office of the BJP on January 10, they are reportedly called to greet him. However, to strengthen the party organ in the state where young workers were missing, will be a big challenge for Mr Raghubar Das.
