More than ten days before the Rajya Sabha polls on June 18, BJP chief Nitin Nabin is coming to Jharkhand on his two-day visit to the state from June 6.

During his visit he is slated to take part in several party events and organisational meetings.This information was shared with media persons by a senior leader.

Incidentally, it is scheduled to be Nabin’s first visit to Jharkhand after becoming the party’s national president.

As per Jharkhand BJP general secretary Amar Bauri announcement,the BJP president will arrive at Ranchi Airport on June 6 at 11.30 a.m. A tree plantation programme is slated to take place in the vicinity of the airport. 

The same day, he will participate in a ‘Prabuddhjan Samvad’ programme at the party office near Harmu chowk in Ranchi.

Amar Bauri said, on the first day of his arrival (June 7) itesrlf, Nabin will hold interactions with youth and participate in organisational meetings.

As it is Nabin’s visit comes ahead of the elections to the two Rajya Sabha seats in Jharkhand.These two seats have fallen vacant due to the demise of JMM supremo Shibu Soren and BJP MP, Deepak Prakash who completes his six year term on June 21.

A day after Nabin’s Jharkhand visit, the last date for filing nominations will take place on June 8, and the election day is June 18.
