Sailendra Nath Roy lost his life while performing a stunt that involved covering distance on a zip wire suspended by a tuft of hair.

He had held the Guinness World Record for covering the longest distance on a zip wire hanging by a tuft of his hair.”He met a tragic end in West Bengal on Sunday just when he was trying to cross the Teesta river”,said a report quoting the police.

Roy(40) was a Home Guard.”He had tied a tuft of his hair to a 600-foot long zip wire, about 70 feet above the river’s water level in an attempt to create a new world record in Siliguri in Darjeeling district.But before he could do so,he slipped and died”,said another report.
