For the first time India may witness Mercedes – Benz’s Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) competing with BMW Xi, Audi Q3 and the upcoming Volvo V40 Cross Country, reports IANS.

‘Mercedes is planning to launch entry level SUV in India’, reports IANS’ Dalbir Sahota quoting Noida based Mercedes-Benz dealership, Eberhard H. Kern, managing director and chief executive of Mercedes-Benz India.

This Merc SUV unveiled recently at Shanghai can cost around Rs. 25 lakh and its target customers are mainly professionals and women.
