Karma puja,a popular festival of Adivasis in Jharkhand,is on Sunday.The State Government earlier used to declare it as a Restricted Holiday.This meant that it was not a holiday for those who were not Adivasis.

However, this year,the JMM led government under the leadership of its leader and Chief Minister Hemant Soren  has declared it as a Gazetted Holiday,according to a press release issued by Public Relations Department in Hindi.
