South-Eastern Railway has decided to run four special trains from Jharkhand to clear the extra rush of passengers during Chhath.

Reportedly even after four special trains it is getting difficult for the railways to cope up with the issue of huge rush in the trains. Every other train which is heading towards Bihar is overcrowded challenging the Railways.

Trains are full and there is no room in Tatkal service. The premium service would have come in handy but unfortunately that is not available in Ranchi, said a student Shailaja Kumari at Ranchi railway station.

Hatia-Patna Express,  Ranchi-Patna Janshatabdi Express long ago ran out of tickets and long wait for Tatkal tickets ended in despair.

Quoting Neeraj Kumar, divisional commercial manager of Ranchi rail division, the report says there is no booking at all. We have attached extra coaches in each one of them, but we are still unable to manage the rush. We are being requested to add more coaches to the trains, but there is a technical constraint to it as well, he added.

The tickets for the special trains introduced for Chhath, New Jalpaiguri-Ranchi Express, Mumbai-Hatia Express, Gondia- Hatia Express have already run out. While every train heading towards Bihar is full, similar picture prevailed over the bus stand.
