Jamia Millia Islamia University in Delhi has decided to introduce four new courses in gender studies, public health, biophysics and disaster management from the upcoming academic session, admission for which will begin on April 13.

According to Jamia spokesperson Mukesh Ranjan, four new courses – MA in Gender Studies to be offered by Sarojini Naidu Centre for Women’s Studies, MSc in Biophysics (Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Basic Sciences), PG Diploma in Public Health (Department of Social Work) and Diploma in Disaster
Management (Department of Geography) — will be introduced from the academic year 2015-16.

The online application process for the admissions to various courses being offered by the university will begin on April 13.
Last date for application is May 1.
