A two-day international seminar on minimal invasive surgery will be held in AIIMS Patna from August 29 in which more than 300 renowned doctors will take part, said its Director G K Singh today.

Director of all seven AIIMS in the country have been invited for this seminar, Singh told reporters.

Doctor Shailesh Putumkar from Pune and Chennai based doctor J S Rajkumar would perform gastrointestinal surgery and intestinal bypass surgery for the participants, he said.

Establishment of Simulation Laboratory would also take place during the event at AIIMS Patna in which emerging surgeons would learn invasive surgery of computerised mannequin, added Singh.
