A primary school teacher has been arrested for allegedly misbehaving with three girl students at Dumaria in East Singhbhum district of Jharkhand.

The teacher Shit Kumar Choudhury has been arrested, said the police. His alleged misconduct came to light when one of the girls filed an FIR at the local police station.

On a follow-up inquiry, police further came to know from the gram pradhan that the girls had suddenly started abstaining from classes feeling uncomfortable in the teacher’s presence.
