The Betla National Park, one of the most popular tourist destinations of Jharkhand, is all set to reopen after a 3-month closure.

It is located in Naxal-infested Latehar on the Chhotanagpur plateau and due to its popularity much before the opening most of the hotel rooms have been booked in the area.

The national park preserves a wide range of wild life including leopards, elephants, sambhar, deer and cheetals.
