As many as 16 people have been held guilty by a local court in the killing of social activist, Sister Valsa Joan, in 2011.

District and Sessions Judge Omprakash Srivastav, who convicted the 16 accused in the case, will pronounce the sentence against them on October 16.

Sister Valsa was brutally killed around midnight on November 15, 2011 at Kathaldih village under Amrapada police station of Pakur district.
