Unprecedented security arrangements are being made for the scheduled visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to his parliamentary constituency Varanasi along with his Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe on December 12.

Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik and Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav are also likely to join the two heads of the countries who will be accorded a red carpet welcome in the state.

Both premiers reportedly would witness ‘Ganga Aarti’ in the evening followed by a dinner hosted by Modi for the Japanese Prime Minister at a hotel.
